Residential Developments Below are examples of the residential construction projects that are currently being developed in Cobourg!
- Brook Meadows is located on Brook Road South off King Street. This development is currently in Phase 1 for 22 single detached homes with Phase 2 in approval stage for 24 single detached homes. This site is surrounded by nature and only steps away from Lake Ontario.
- King George Mews located on Cobourg's main street, is a renovation project consisting of 19 high energy efficient condominiums.
- Mansions on George Condominium project is located on the corner of George and James Streets. Heritage Condominiums starting at $199,900.00. Phase ll is expected to be completed by Spring 2010 with 45 multiple units.
- New Amherst Development is located at the most westerly side of Cobourg off Elgin Street. This development is near completion of phase 2 with phase 3 well on its way. These are classically inspired homes with a small town charm.
- Parkview Hills located on Parkview Hills Drive is one of Cobourg's historical areas and most desirable new neighborhoods. This development is currently completing Phase 2 and moving strongly into Phase 3 of construction in the Densmore Road area. This phase includes single family homes and "Densmore Village", our garden home condominiums. This development combines city convenience with rural charm.
- The Egerton, part of Ryerson Common located on University Avenue, is an elegant grouping of bungalows and bunga-loft condominiums from 1,400 to over 2,000 sq. ft. of living space. Phase 3 is near completion consisting of a 3 storey, 13 unit condominium apartment building adjacent to Victoria College, as well as 26 townhouse units.
- West Park Village, an extension of Prince of Wales Drive, is currently in Phase 3B of construction with 45 single units. Town houses in Phase 1 and 2 are still available.
- West Colony Bay/Illahee Lodge is located at 110 Ontario Street on the lakefront. This development is approved for 3 single lots, 6 high end townhouse condominiums and 13 regular high end condominium units.
- Gates of Camelot, located on King Street East, will start construction soon with approval for 86 townhouses, 80 semi-detached and 51 single units. Phase 1 will include 30 single homes and 2 semi-detached units.
- Heritage Village, a new development that covers 265 acres of land is bounded by Danforth Road, Greer Road, Elgin Street East and Brook Road North. The proposal will create a mixed-use neighbourhood, developed over eight phases. First phase is slated for fall 2009 or early Spring 2010.
